Check out some of the upcoming events happening at the Rolleston RSA and get involved with the local community.

The last Friday each month is club night from 5:30 pm at the Rolleston Rugby Club in Foster Park. The Ode and announcements at 6 pm, raffles and merchandise on sale, and the kitchen is open for lovely meals.

Taskforce Kiwi

For those military, emergency services, who miss the feeling of deployment to serve others in need, this may help fill that void. It is led by retired service and emergency services personnel, and you will have the opportunity to utilise your skills from service, to deploy to emergency relief or response after disasters, or civil emergencies.

ANZAC Day 25 April 2023.

Dawn Service at the entrance gates to Burnham Military Camp at 6 am. ANZAC Parade in Rolleston at the Memorial Clock Tower, corner of Tennyson Street and Rolleston Drive. The parade will march from the Community Centre at 10:45 am. Tea and coffee in the Community Centre after the service. You are also invited to join the RSA at the Rolleston Rugby Club rooms after the service - cash bar will be available and the kitchen will be open for meals.

ACTIVITIES

Club Nights

  • We meet every second Friday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the clubrooms of the Rolleston Rugby Club in Foster Park, Rolleston – Dynes Road entrance.
  • We have a short remembrance at 6:00 pm sharp to pay respect to the Fallen by reciting the Ode, and playing the Last Post and Rouse.
  • Our last club night in 2022 is on Friday 09 Dec 2022.
  • Our first club night for the new year will be on Friday 03 Feb 2023.
  • We have a lucky members’ draw each club night which starts at $20 and increases by $20 each week if not drawn to a maximum of $100 – at this stage it must be won! To qualify you need to be at the clubrooms with your membership card at the time of the draws.
  • We run a kitchen on club nights offering some tasty meals for your family.

Family Christmas Shindig

  • You are invited to a BYO picnic in Foster Park from 4:00 pm on Saturday 10 Dec 2022.
  • Santa will make an appearance!
  • Meet at the ponds and gazebo in Foster Park.
